Elverda "Bert" Aucoin

Elverda P. "Bert" Aucoin age 96 of Alexandria, Tennessee passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 2017 at the Lebanon Health & Rehab Center. Born on April 11, 1921 in Napoleonville she was the daughter of the late Whitney and Nellie Ayo Aucoin and was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Joseph Aucoin and a niece, Shirley Faith Elias. She was a cosmetologist and operated a beauty shop for over 40 years. Bert is survived by her nieces and nephews, Russell Aucoin, Jr. of Princeton, KY, Diana Kubic of Lebanon, Gale (Raywood) Bourque of Morgan City, LA, Michael (Patricia) Aucoin of Alexandria, Ellen Moxley of Oklahoma, Ronald (Joann) Aucoin of Morgan City, LA and a number of great and great great nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Aucoin family was held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown, Tennessee. Mausoleum entombment will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Morgan City Mausoleum at 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of the entombment.
