Ernest "Bee Bee" Paul Stratton Sr.

Ernest “Bee Bee” Paul Stratton Sr., 78, a resident of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home.

Bee Bee was born July 14, 1943, in Morgan City, the son of Ernest Percy Stratton and Enora Aucoin Poche.

Bee Bee was a commercial fisherman his entire life, enjoying fishing and crabbing. He also enjoyed going to the casino and to Bingo. Ernest loved spending time with his family and friends.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Elaine “Susie” Ribardi Stratton; 8 children, Pam Hubler, Alfred Stratton and wife Cindy, Gene Stratton Sr. and wife Amanda, Kathleen Bland and husband Glenn, Christine Crane, Rebecca Conscience and husband Sullivan, Agnes Smith and husband Jeremiah, and Brenda Stratton; 18 grandchildren, Jason and wife Stacy, Nicole and husband Wesley, Natasha, Carrie, Lonnie Jr. and wife Kristy, Jobe, Gene Jr. and wife Misty, Shane and wife Megan, Kasey, Logan and wife Zeddian, Justin, Destiny, Blaise Kayla, Ryan and wife Madison, Brandon and wife Autumn, Connor, and Alexis; numerous great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Shelly Stratton, Dawn Stratton, Melanie Stratton, Ida Stratton, Moses Stratton, Wayne Stratton and wife Tina, Judy Leal, Evelyn Lombas and Tina Poche.

Bee Bee was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest ad Enora Stratton; two sons, Ernest Stratton Jr. and Lonnie Stratton Sr.; grandchild, Harold “Allen” Sheets; two sisters, Lisa Sons and Cindy Stratton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Twin City Funeral Home, with Monsignor Courville officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Bee Bee will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
