Ervin Ray Thomas Sr.

Ervin Ray Thomas Sr., 58, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Ervin was born on August 1, 1959 in Monticello, Kentucky, the son of Melvin and James Elizabeth Conn Thomas. Ervin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed being in the boat fishing and hunting. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his former wife Lori Tanton Thomas; three children, Bridget Levingston and husband David of Berwick, Ervin Ray Thomas Jr. and fiancé Santana Cavalier of Morgan City, Valerie Thomas and fiancée Christ Bosworth II of Youngsville; 8 grandchildren, Jeramie Armond, Trent Armond, Dylan Armond, Carter Wiggins, Kenley Thomas, Alexis Bosworth, Layla Bosworth, Mason Bosworth; two brothers, Johnny Thomas of Berwick, Henry Thomas and wife Margaret of Patterson; one sister, Cathy Chambless of Orange, Texas; one brother-in-law, Donnie “Henry” Adams of Berwick and his three children Henry Adams Jr., Rachelle Adams Theriot, and Bonitta Dupont; numerous nieces and nephews. Ervin was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and James Elizabeth Conn Thomas; one brother, Donnie Thomas; one sister, Bonnie Adams. Funeral services will be held at Twin City Funeral Home Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Following services Ervin will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
