Hazel Mae Baudoin LeJeune, 72, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Ochsner St. Mary, surrounded by her loving family.
Hazel was born September 22, 1949, in Morgan City, the daughter of Eldridge Baudoin and Eugenia Fredrick Dinger.
Hazel was a caring, loving, sweet woman, who would bend over backwards to help anyone in need. Hazel never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her significant other of 30 years, Charlie LaPointe of Berwick, three children, Jo Ann LeJeune and significant other Brent Gros of Bayou L’Ourse, Roxanne Davis and husband Johnny of Bayou L’Ourse, Brian LeJeune and significant other Chasity Arcemont of Stephensville; one sister, Judy Voisin and husband Paul of Morgan City; 12 grandchildren, Nicholas Kinkle and wife Freda, Bradley Kinkle and wife Chelsea, Sharon Ann Kinkle and significant other Rooster ( Matthew ), Kerrie Ann Kinkle and husband Bernard Henry, Crystal Davis and significant other Keirsten, Lyssa Wolf and husband Ricky, Jamie Whorton and husband Ellis, Wesley LeJeune, Shane Holifield and wife Brittany, Brian Kinkle and wife Chelsea, Zachery Kinkle and significant other Kamryn Smith; seven great-grandchildren, Aubrey Landry, Wyatt Vicknair, Joseph and Alexis Kinkle, Nova and Benton Holifield, Leah Kinkle.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge Baudoin and Eugenia Dinger; husband, Jimmy LeJeune; four siblings, Johnny, Ronald, Michael, and Bernice Baudoin.
Pallbearers will be Zachary, Brian, Bradley, Nick, Rooster, Bernard, Brent, and Shane.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home with Roger and Joslyn Cannon officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Hazel will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
