Heather Dupre, 35, a native and resident of Morgan City, passed away on November 27, 2022.

Heather was loved by anyone that knew her. She was a ray of sunshine that loved life. Heather had a perspective on life that she wished more followed. She believed in watching sunsets and dancing in the rain. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, especially if there was food. She loved doing yoga, meditating, listening to music, or just watching TV. She was a vivid journal keeper and had the most contagious smile and laugh.

Heather is survived by and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Burkalean “Marie” Dupre and life partner Timothy Giddens, Johnny Davis, and stepmom, Roxanne. Sisters, Bonnie Dupre and fiancé Chad Ledet. Crystal Davis, Sharon Kinkle, Kerrie Henry and husband Bernard Henry. Brothers: Burkin Dupre, Kenneth Scadlock, Joshua Scadlock, and Nicholas Scadlock. Her Grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Gussman. Godchildren: Victoria Ledet and Avery Dupre. Nieces and nephews: Jaydon, Aybrey, Wyatte, Zadie, Zepplin, and Zaiden. She will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her best friend and sidekick Sydney Bassa. Longtime manager and family friend, Ginger Roy, and the rest of her Shoney’s family.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Burkin Dupre and Bobby Massey.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, December 12, 2022, at Twin City Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
