Jack Wynne McIntyre

Jack Wynne McIntyre, 93, a resident of Stephensville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Terrebonne General Health System in Houma.

Jack was born May 11, 1930, in Orange, TX, the son of Floyd McIntyre Sr.  and Thelma Rogers McIntyre.

After his retirement, Jack enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He enjoyed sitting on his dock every afternoon, enjoying his daily drink and visiting with his neighbor Don.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his five sons, Jack W. McIntyre and wife Denise, Michael D. McIntyre and wife Janice, Phillip E. McIntyre and wife Stacey, Kenneth R. McIntyre and wife Tina, and Steven M. McIntyre and wife Ashley; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Thelma McIntyre; one daughter, Pamela McIntyre; Jack’s first wife, Carol McIntyre Arthur; four brothers, Floyd McIntyre Jr., Ted McIntyre, James McIntyre, and Jerry McIntyre; four sisters, Wanda Berry, Bonnie Thiac, Carman Yost, and Joyce Beadle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January, 20, 2024 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Father Garrett McIntyre officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 9: OO a.m. until 10:45 a.m. After Mass, Jack will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
