Janette Mason Billiot

Janette Mason Billiot, 86, a current resident of Magnolia Texas, and a life-long resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Janette never met a stranger; everywhere she went, she made sure you knew she was there. Janette lived in Magnolia Texas with her daughter Sandra for 11 years, and there she made many friends. She enjoyed going to church and being with her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two children, Sandra McCall and husband Thomas, and David Billiot and wife Kelly; daughter-in-law, Vickie Billiot; four grandchildren, Gillian and Aceson Billiot, Whitney Billiot IV, Katie Hatch and husband Tracy; four great-grandchildren, Izabella, Abigail, Brixx, Nola; one sister, Doris Landry McKee

Janette was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney “Sonny” J. Billiot Jr.; son, Whitney J. Billiot III.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Mike Tran officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, Janette will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
