Janice Louise Hebert

With heavy hearts yet unwavering faith, we announce the passing of our beloved Janice Louise Hebert (Brown), who went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 25th 2025 at the age of 75. Along side were her loving husband, children and grandchildren.

While our hearts ache at this loss, we find peace knowing that she is now in peace with our Savior, Jesus Christ, rejoicing in eternal glory.

Born on October 25, 1950 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Janice was a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. From an early age, she dedicated her life to Christ, living out Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Janice was a devoted wife mother and friend, always putting others before herself. Whether through a warm smile, an encouraging word, or a helping hand, she made everyone feel seen, heard and loved. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she found great joy. She had a gift for sharing God’s word.

Beyond her faith, Janice was a source of strength and joy to everyone blessed to know her. She found happiness in spending time with her husband and family , she also enjoyed painting and all things crafty. She loved being a nurse caring for her patients and serving others. She always brought people together with laughter, wisdom, and a heart full of grace. Family gatherings were never complete without some good music, dancing until everyone’s legs felt like spaghetti noodles.

Janice is survived by her devoted loving husband of 54 years Geary Hebert , 5 children; Jamie Hebert Broussard and husband Bradey Broussard , Kellie Hebert , Tessie Hebert , Crystal Hebert and Cibyl Andorf. Grandchildren Joshua Broussard , Savannah Hebert, Cody Broussard wife Taylor Broussard , Madison Broussard , Tristian Andorf , Katelyn Miller, Brelin Andorf , Natalie Hebert , Drake Miller , Peyton Hebert, Zsa Zsa Hebert. Great grandchildren Remmi Waters , Oxford Hockless, Penelope Hebert, Finnleigh Hebert, Atlas Broussard , Maxson Scully ,Kyson Scully ,Molly Kate Hebert , Dolly Hebert, Draco Miller , Jericho Miller who will carry forward her legacy of love and faith. Though we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in knowing she is whole again and that this is not goodbye—it is only “see you later.”

A celebration of Janice’s’s life will be held on March 5th, 2025 at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City. A visitation will begin at 9:00 for immediate family 10:00am-1:00pm followed by a service at 1:00pm-2:00pm. Graveyard services to follow.

The family invites all who knew and loved Janice to join in honoring a life well-lived and a soul well-loved.

As we grieve, we take comfort in the promise of John 11:25-26: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’”
