Jenny Johnson Thibodeaux

Jenny Johnson Thibodeaux, 61, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Jenny was born on March 21, 1960 in Morgan City, the daughter of Robert C. Johnson Sr. and Ida Mae Barrilleaux Johnson.

Jenny had a heart of gold and was the rock for everyone in her family, she was the glue that kept everything together. She was the person that everyone came to for advice, because she always has the right words and knew just what to say in each moment. She loved her children and grandchildren and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She loved puzzles and being in the outdoors. Jenny was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two children, Sherell Johnson of Berwick and Barry Johnson of Bayou Vista; one step daughter, Teasha Thibodeaux of Patterson; five grandchildren, Adam Giroir, Alaina Giroir, Isiah Roland, Zachary Hill and Joshua Hill; two sisters, Cathy Falgout of Berwick, Sherry Hebert and husband Milton of Northport, Alabama; one brother, Robert C. Johnson Jr. and wife Rose of Patterson; numerous nieces and nephews including her God Child Neal; numerous friends who turned into family.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Mae Barrilleaux Johnson; her husband, Richard D. Thibodeaux Sr.; one brother, Terry W. Johnson.

The family would like to thank the nurses with Heart of Hospice for their loving care and always going above and beyond to care for Jenny.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home.
