Jessie Lee Free Percle

Jessie Lee Free Percle, 72, a life-long resident of Berwick and current resident of Pine Prairie, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  

Jessie was born August 6, 1951, in Baton Rouge, the daughter of Jessie Wilbur Free and Mary Lee Verrett Free.

Jessie loved her family tremendously and enjoyed spending time with them. Jessie was very outgoing and always loved to be around company.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Percle Sr.; children, Lezlie Aucoin, Alicia Ortego and husband Darrel, Paul J. Percle Jr. and wife Shelly, Carla Percle, and Shelia Benavides; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Janey Sons and husband Ballard Jr. and Gene Ray Free.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Mary Free; son, Matthew Aucoin; daughter, Paula Percle; brother, Gregory James Free.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Jessie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
