Jodie Lynd Marsh Horschel

Jodie Lynd Marsh Horschel, 59, a resident of Morgan City passed away February 25, 2025, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Jodie was born March 24, 1965, in Berwick, LA, the daughter of Paula Driskill Willis and Clifton L Marsh Jr. Jodie dedicated 20 plus years of her life in the medical field as an RN. Her passions were participating in plays and entertaining people. She knew no stranger, lit up every room she entered, and brought life out of everything. Her biggest act of love was gifting people. To know her was to love her. Jodie's four legged children Annie, Franklin, and Mr. Bean were her life.

 She will be sadly and lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 plus years, Clayton Horschel and four-legged child Mr.  Bean; son Aaron Kiffe, granddaughters Lillian and Genesis. Parents Paula and Alvin Willis. Seven siblings Floris Hebert and husband Wayne, Eileen Reinhardt, Mariam DiMaggio, Sonya Burmaster, Belinda Stuchel, Karen Higuera and husband Jose, Sharon Dowden and husband Clyde.  Lifelong best friend Diane Matherne, and many nieces and nephews. 

Jodie was preceded in death by her grandparents Aubrey and Floris Driskill (Sister Toot), and Allie and Clifton Marsh Sr. Her father Clifton Marsh Jr, Brother in laws Jay Marshall, David DiMaggio, niece Devin DiMaggio, and father in law Norman Horschel.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home
