Joshua Paul Dinger

Joshua Paul Dinger, 32, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Joshua was born on June 6, 1985 in Houma, the son of Michael Dinger Cervantes and Cynthia Lagnon.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his pride and joy, his twin sons, Allen and Kellen Dinger of Morgan City; his mother, Cynthia Soto and husband Frank of Morgan City; his father, Michael Dinger Cervantes of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight siblings, Jessica Dinger of Morgan City, Kayla Ladner of Bayou L’Ourse, Michael “Mikey” Dinger Jr. of Patterson, Robert Dinger of Harlingen, Texas, Tyler Frederick of New Iberia, Frida Dinger of Youngsville, Raquel Cervantes and Shyla Cervantes both of Corpus Christi, Texas; step siblings, Cristina Soto, Frank Soto Jr., Alicia Leonard, Sara Soto, Rachel Soto; special friend Michael Pierce; maternal grandparents, Euclide Lagnon and Brenda Vining; paternal grandmother, Harriet Cervantes.

Joshua was preceded in death by his half-brother, Kelly Dinger.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Twin City Funeral Home with the visitation resuming from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Following the services Joshua will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family so they may set up an education fund for Allen and Kellen Dinger.
