Journi Olivia Loupe

Journi Olivia Loupe, a treasured light born on August 2, 1999 raised in Morgan City La. left this earth on March 8, 2025, at the tender age of 25.

Journi was a remarkable spirit, undeterred by the challenges life presented. Her greatest pride came from defying expectations and creating something beautiful. There was no more profound testament to her strength and love than her son Oliver, the light and joy of her life. Oliver will be her most cherished story. She will leave behind a legacy of love and resilience. Journi’s energy and zest for life were a source of inspiration to many.

Preceded In death by her beloved grandparents Chris Loupe Sr, Lee Fontenot Sr, and Carolyn Fontenot.

Journi is survived by her parents, Chris Loupe Jr. and Shawna Fontenot, her siblings Krislyn Vining, Jace Loupe, Jordi Boudreaux, Chris Loupe III, and Ava Loupe, her grandmother Roxanne Loupe.  So many more family on both sides whom will bear the indelible marks of her laughter and light. Most importantly her son Oliver Aucoin will carry forward her legacy and her spirit will live on through him.

Journi Loupe was a young soul whose laughter touched everyone around her leaving an immeasurable void in our hearts and lives. Her journey ended too soon. “The good die young“ but they live on in the hearts of those who loved them!
