Katherine Duval Ratcliff

Katherine “Kathy” Duval Ratcliff, 69, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Ochsner St. Mary.

Kathy was born November 30, 1951, the daughter of Roland J. Duval Sr. and Marion Verrett Duval.

Kathy loved her family more than anything; she loved being with her grandkids. Kathy was a hard worker.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Cyrus Ratcliff Sr.; three children, Tanna Guillory and husband Brett, Cyrus Ratcliff Jr. and wife Tasha, Fancie Ratcliff and significant other Zack Daigle; grandchildren, Jenna Favre and husband Donovan, Brett Guillory Jr., Lani Naquin, Ethan Ratcliff, Taylen Godeaux, Wyatt Daigle; great-grandchildren, Laylen Favre, Bransen Favre, Torren Favre, Jaxen Guillory, Jake Settoon, and one on the way; one sister, Janet Aucoin and husband Earl; four brothers, Earl Duval and wife Regina, Michael Duval and wife Janice, Danny Duval and wife Bernadine, Roland Duval Jr.; godchildren, Stephanie Duck, Renee D. Ewing; numerous nieces, nephews and family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Roland Duval Sr.; mother, Marion V. Duval; son, Troy A. Ratcliff; godchild, Danny Duval Jr., brothers, Mark Duval, Ricky Duval Sr., Charles Duval Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Kathy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
