Kenneth J. Moore, age 73, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Kenneth was a longtime resident of Patterson. Kenneth is survived by his siblings, Ruth “Deedie” Perez, Wilson Jr. “Bud” Moore and wife Pat, Terri Moore; Raymond Rice who was known as his son; nieces and nephews, Carl Perez, Kelly Fondaw and husband Tony, Kimberly Duval and companion Adam Charles, Ashley Hudson, and Heather Hudson, Peter Kim and Amy Kim; numerous great and great great nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Kathy and husband Kent Henry Kim. Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Tok Chin “Becky” Moore; parents, Wilson, Sr. and Leona Bourgeois Moore; and brother-in-law, Carol Perez. Kenneth and his wife Becky were the proud owners of the Thunder Bay in Morgan City and Turtle Corner Bar in Berwick. They both enjoyed pool and played in tournaments and loved taking trips to the casino. Kenneth was a proud Army Veteran. Anyone who knew Kenneth, knew he was a country singer for many years and loved country music. Kenneth was loving and loved by all but never underestimate him to be in Facebook jail. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00. A burial with Military Honors will be held at the Morgan City Cemetery following the service by the East St. Mary Funeral Squad.
