Lawrence "Lil Bit" R. Rodrigue

Lawrence R. “Lil Bit” Rodrigue, 80, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at The Woodlands Healthcare Center in Leesville.

Lawrence was born on April 3, 1941 in Napoleonville, the son of Louis Rodrigue and Eldonia Perrera Rodrigue.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Carolyn Sauce Rodrigue of Bayou Vista; three children, Tammy Naquin and husband Leroy of Humble, Texas, Cheryl Crochet and husband Dale of Bayou Vista, Randy Rodrigue and wife Autum of Houma; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Lindsay R. “Tiger” Rodrigue and wife Chris of Berwick; two sisters, Mabel Griffin of Franklin and Loretta R. Gros of Bayou Vista.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard Lawrence Rodrigue; one grandson, Joshua Naquin; one brother, Lewis J. “LJ” Rodrigue; two sisters, Vivian Simoneaux and Lillian Legendre.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home with Monsignor J. Douglas Courville officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service time, and following the services, Lawrence will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
