Leonard Joseph Aucoin

Leonard Joseph Aucoin, 85, native of Pierre Part and resident of Morgan City, peacefully passed away on May 2, 2023. He was surrounded by those he loved the most.

Leonard was a kind, loving soul who always wanted to lend a helping hand. He was a friend to all who knew him. Leonard enjoyed being outdoors; he was always in the boat crawfishing. He enjoyed doing yard work and gardening with his granddaughter in his free time. What he loved the most was spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be forever missed.

Leonard was born on March 21, 1938, to Lillian Hebert Leonard and Sidney Pete Aucoin. He is greatly missed and survived by his daughter Holly Aucoin, her children Trey and Macy Landry; his son Bryan Aucoin, his children Nicole Aucoin and Kayla Daigle; sisters Mary (Poochie) Daigle and Fannie Leonard; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lillian and Sidney; three brothers: Uhry Aucoin, Dalbas Hebert, and Avery Leonard, one sister Annabelle Aucoin Falgout, and one great-grandchild Brynlee Tullier.

Services will be held from 9-11 am at Twin City Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, 2023. Leonard will be eternally laid to rest at Morgan City Cemetery. May he rest in peace.
