Lisa Ann Brown Raymond

Lisa Brown Raymond, 54, a resident of Morgan City, LA passed away peacefully and gained her angel wings on Saturday, January 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer that she fought hard through. 

Lisa was born December 20, 1967, the daughter of Yvonne and Larry Brown. 

Lisa enjoyed spending her time with family and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold. She was also an excellent cook. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. 

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her three children: her son, Michael Thompson Jr., and her two daughters, Dalisha Duke and Desiree Duke. Six grandchildren: Michael Wayne Thompson, Mason Thompson, Bently Rock, Marleigh Murphy, Rhett Perry, and Raylee Foreman. Two brothers: Darren Brown and Greg Brown.  

It’s simply not a goodbye, but a ‘see you later.’

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother Jeff Brown, her maternal grandmother Agnes Wiggins, and her Aunt Brenda Beam. 

A memorial visitation will be held at Twin City funeral home Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 6pm-8pm.
