In Loving Memory of Madeleine Krauss Bouillion

Madeleine K. Bouillion, 88, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, January 24th , 2025 at Landmark South Nursing Center. Madeleine was born on December 11, 1936 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the parents of Paul and Marguerite H. Krauss.

She is survived by her son Paul E. Bouillion and fiancé Melissa Tolito of Gonzales, La; her daughter, Carolyn Bouillion of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter -granddaughter, Kaylee B. Guillory and husband Chad Guillory, Jr. of Jena, LA; granddaughter Jacelyn Bouillion of Morgan City; two grandsons Michael Bouillion and wife Lynden of French Settlement; Mathew Bouillion of Gonzales, LA. She also has two great grandchildren Chad Guillory, Ta'leigh Wright, and a little one on the way. Madeleine left behind two sisters; Constance Landgrave and husband David of Lafayette, LA; Marguerite Sumrall and husband Mike of Patterson, LA, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Madeleine was preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth C. Bouillion; her daughter- in-law, Beverly Thomas Bouillion, and her parents Paul and Marguerite Krauss. 

Madeleine was a devout catholic who enjoyed praying her rosary daily. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and playing with her dog Paisly. Madeleine's love for life will live on in the hearts of those she held dear. She will be greatly missed by every heart that she touched during her time on earth. Her nurturing spirit and kindness was apparent in all that she did. Let us remember her beautiful blue eyes, and her voice and laughter that filled a room. May she rest in eternal peace. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA on Thursday, February 6, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, with the memorial service immediately following at 12:00 pm.
