Margaret Ann Flanagan Dardar, 84, a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and resident of Bayou Vista passed away at her residence surrounded by her three daughters.
Margaret was born August 12, 1936, in Arkansas, the daughter of Wheeler and Hilduth Flanagan.
Margaret enjoyed cooking, quilting, and watching the Saints after cooking her famous chicken gumbo.
She is survived by three children; Deborah DeRouen of Lafayette, Donna Dardar of Bayou Vista, and Doris Mitcham and husband Lonnie of DuPont, Washington; five grandchildren, Danielle Comeaux and husband Ryan of Duson, Todd Derouen and wife Brandi of Erath, Bradley Mitcham of DuPont, Washington, Michael DeRouen of Duson, and Brandon Mitcham of DuPont, Washington; four great grandchildren, Rylie, Demie, and Cooper Comeaux of Duson, and Elyse DeRouen of Erath.
She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Dardar; daughter Linda Kay; parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the services at 11:00 a.m. at Twin City Funeral Home. After services, Margaret will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
