Mary Lee Savoie Aucoin, 76, a resident of Berwick, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

Mary Lee was born on May 20, 1944 in Franklin, Louisiana the daughter of Alcide Savoie Sr. and Lydia Leonard Savoie.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two children, Polly Cedatol and husband Jerry of New Iberia and Phillip Aucoin of Berwick; one granddaughter, Nicole Marie Aucoin of New Iberia; one great grandson, Grayson Pichoff; one brother, Darrell Savoie and wife Alice of DeQuincy; one sister, Beulah Bourliea of New Iberia.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide Savoie Sr. and Lydia Leonard Savoie; her husband, Joseph Aucoin; one son, Patrick Joseph Aucoin; one sister, Anna Theriot; two brothers, Alcide Savoie Jr. and Alan Savoie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home with Monsignor J. Douglass Courville officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service time and following the services, Mary Lee will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
