Mary Ann Rodrigue

Mary Ann Rodrigue, passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 86 in her hometown of Morgan City, LA. She was born on February 1, 1937, to her loving parents, Dalton McElroy and Admonse Thibodaux, in Morgan City.

Mary Ann was a dedicated and hardworking woman throughout her life. After graduating from high school, she pursued a career as a loan officer in the banking industry. She found great joy and fulfillment in her role at MC Bank, where she served the community with her expertise and professionalism. Mary Ann's commitment to her work was highly regarded, and she established lasting friendships with colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mary Ann found great joy in spending as much time as she could with her granddaughters and great grandkids. She truly loved playing and having fun with the great grandkids which brought her immense happiness. She had a passion for traveling and enjoyed being outside tending to her yard and flowers.

Mary Ann's legacy will be carried on by the cherished memories she leaves behind. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Lana Mason and husband Alvin, and Jamie Anslem and husband Jason, daughter-in-law, Amanda Rodrigue, great-grandchild, Breanna Guillot, great-grandchild, Ezra Anslem, and great-grandchild, Amos Mason. Their love and bond with Mary Ann will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Admonse McElroy; one brother, Dalton McElory Jr.; one sister, Jeanette Reynaud; two sons, Lindsey Rodrigue Jr. and Lance Rodrigue.

To honor and celebrate Mary Ann's life, a visitation will be held on October 16, 2023, at 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA. Family, friends, and those touched by her presence are invited to come together to pay their respects and reminisce about the beautiful moments shared with her.
