Milton Ray Lovell

Milton R. Lovell, 79, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Milton was born on March 8, 1939 to the late Whitney and Marie Champange Lovell in Bayou Durlage, Louisiana. He was a kind hearted and hardworking man who truly loved his family. He was a longtime resident of Baldwin. He worked many years for Santa Fe, McDermont and then later for former Governor Mike Foster. He never met a stranger no matter where he went. Milton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Those he leaves to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Sybil Hebert Lovell; children, Chantell Guillot and husband Emmanuel Jr., Milton Gerard Lovell, Chad Lovell and wife Nicki, and Pauline Pinho and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Misty Legrand and husband Ian, Layton Lovell and wife Opal, Cody Guillot, Skylar Meyerholtz and husband Travis, Kiya Lovell, Bryce Ronsonet, Tristan Lovell and his companion Brandi Briggs, Abby Ronsonet, Leif Lovell, and Kamryn Lovell; great grandchildren, Skylian LeBlanc, Isabella Legrand, Malakai Soprano, Tatum Luke, Livy Leger, Ethan Legrand, Noah Lovell, Alaiya Lovell, Riyder Lovell, Allie Lovell, Ava Lovell, Amelia Lovell; siblings, Charles Lovell and wife Verda, Glayds Scelfo, L.J. Lovell, Joycelyn Allmon and husband Chuck, and Margie Lovell and husband Peter Rowe; brother-in-law, Larry Hebert; Sisters in law, Sally Hebert, Sharon Haydel, and Evelylnn Lovell; godchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, granddogs, and grandcats who were his bird watching buddies. He was proceded in death by his daughter, Monique Lovell; parents, Whitney and Marie Lovell; Lynwood “Man” Lovell, Hubert Lovell, Amos Lovell, EJ Martin; brother-in-laws, Jackie Hebert and Tut Scelfo.  Memorial services for Milton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baldwin. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to heart of Hospice. 14777 Hwy 90 Frontage Rd. Franklin, LA 70538 in Milton Lovell’s name.
