Paul Anthony Businelle

Paul Anthony Businelle, 44, resident of Bayou Vista, was called to heaven on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Paul was born on September 27, 1973 in Morgan City, the son of Peter and Theresa Freeman Businelle.  Paul enjoyed being outdoors and on the water, spending time with his family and friends, and actively participating at Crossing Place Church in Bayou Vista. Paul will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 8 years, Ashley Jennings Businelle, of Patterson; three children, Eli Paul, André Paul, and Stella Renee. He is also survived by his parents Peter and Theresa Businelle; sister, Lacy Viscardi; and nephew, Angelo Viscardi. Paul was preceded in death by grandparents, Sadie and Victor Businelle; grandparents Becky and Gharon Freeman; uncles, Wayne Freeman and Elton Businelle; and father-in-law, Derrik Jennings. Family and friends are invited for a visitation at 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Crossing Place Church, 777 Delmar Road, Bayou Vista, with Pastor Den Hussey officiating. Paul will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist in supporting his children’s educational fund. Donations may be mailed to PO Box 2622 Patterson, Louisiana 70392.
