Reba Cogdill Placker

Reba Cogdill Placker, 69, a resident of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Reba was born October 22, 1949 in Lauren County, South Carolina, the daughter of Robert Cogdill and Jimmie Ruth Richard Cogdill.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three children, Tacy Gautreaux and husband Cletus, Jason Placker and wife Angie, and Mark Placker; two sisters, Mildred Walker and Nellie Reyna and husband Johnny; one brother, Robert Ernest Cogdill and wife Cynthia; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Placker and fiancé Ashley Ridgaway, Brandon Hill, Briana Muschweck and husband Nick, Kayla Gautreaux, Jordan Placker, and Erica Placker; 10 great-grandchildren, Gage and Finley Placker, Callie and Kaison Hill, Lauren and Janie Muschweck, Sebastian and Dawson Gautreaux, Tyler and Cailey Herring.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jimmie Ruth Cogdill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
