Rickey Joseph Glynn

Rickey Joseph Glynn, 55, a resident of Patterson, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Rickey was born May 14, 1963 in Morgan City, the son of Harry Joseph Glynn and Melvia Vidos Glynn Whitehead.

Rickey was a comical man, he loved a good joke and to get people laughing. He enjoyed fishing, it was one of his favorite past times. Rickey also loved anything crafty, as well as arty; he enjoyed making soap crafts.

Rickey will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Harry Glynn and wife Ashley of Watson, LA; two brothers, Bobby Glynn Sr. and wife Rebecca of Stephensville and Paul Glynn Sr. and wife Mary of Bayou Vista; one sister, Amy Stratton and husband Lonnie of Morgan City; one step-brother, Roy Don Whitehead Jr.; one step-sister, Johnnie Gale McKoin; step-father, Roy Don Whitehead Sr.; two grandchildren, Anna Kate Glynn and Abbigale Glynn; 11 nieces and nephews, Paul Jr., Mindy, Mandy, Bobby Jr., Charisma, Brooklyn, Jobe, Lonnie Jr., Stephen, Ashley, and Lauren.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Glynn and Melvia Glynn Whitehead.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations for the services be offered to Bobby Glynn Sr.
