Rose Marie Grace Stansbury

Rose Marie Grace Stansbury, 76, a resident of Maurice passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare in Maurice.

Rose was born on June 24, 1942 in Morgan City, the daughter of Robert and Rosalyn Stansbury.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five children, Sidney Nelson and companion Lynette Boudreaux of Patterson, Linda Suire and husband Clayton of Kaplan, Lela Smith and husband Woody of Boise, Idaho, Everette Broxson Jr of Morgan City, George Broxson of Des Moines, Iowa; two step daughters, Anita Broxson of Abbeville and Alice Culverhouse and husband Gene of Sarepta, Louisiana; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosalyn Stansbury; husband, Everette Broxson Sr.; one daughter, Sandra K. Nelson; one step son, Donnie Broxson; four brothers; three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. John Kimball officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time; following services Rose will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
