Roy Davis LeBlanc Sr., 67, a resident of Berwick, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Roy was born December 29, 1951 in New Orleans, the son of Davis LeBlanc and Florence Landry LeBlanc.
Roy was a lifelong hunter and was a member of the Southern Atchafalaya Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed painting swamp scenes and loved playing the bass guitar, and played in several local bands in his younger years. Loved spending time with his family; he cherished the time he got to spend with his children and grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Roy D. LeBlanc Jr. and wife Christy; one daughter, Elaine LeBlanc, both of Berwick; three sisters, Verda Duhon and husband James of Ricohoc, Laverne Burns and husband Billy of Berwick, Juanita Landry of Morgan City; three grandchildren, Logan LeBlanc, Aerian Louviere, and Jenna LeBlanc.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Florence LeBlanc; one sister, Myrna Adams; maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home and continue Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Following the service Roy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
