It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Russell "Bubba" Quentin Francis Jr., went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2024.
A beloved son, brother, father, grandson, uncle, and nephew.
Born on February 28, 1985, in Houma, Louisiana, to Laverne and Russell Francis Sr.
As a child Russell was happy and fun-loving. He was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He loved to joke and make everyone laugh. He loved his family and was especially spoiled by his Mawmaw.
He grew up in Berwick, Louisiana. He loved to fish and even enjoyed deep sea fishing while working offshore in his later years. He loved eating and preparing meals for his family. When Russell became a father to his son, Quentin, he was overjoyed with happiness and welcomed fatherhood.
He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts as Heaven is now his home.
He is survived by his loving mother, Laverne Mire, father, Russell Francis Sr., sons,
Quentin Francis and Elijah Francis,
sister, Daisey Francis Picheloup and her husband James Picheloup II, brother, Ryan Clark, beloved niece and nephews - Taya, Cullen, Oliver, and Theodore.
Aunt, Lacy Louviere, Uncles, Brian Louviere Sr. and John "Rocky" Anthony Clark, cousins, Brian Louviere II and John "Tee" Clark.
Great Aunts, Anna Lee Dinger, Catherine Picard and her husband Charles Picard.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother, Jo Ann Written Francis, Maternal grandparents, Louise Cavalier Clark and John Clark, aunts Lena Flores and Angelina Walters, uncles, Gabriel "Lee" Clark and Steve "Ripp" Clark.
The funeral service in remembrance of Russell Quentin Francis Jr. will be held on March 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Twin City Funeral Home. Prior to the service, there will be a public viewing starting at 8:00 am.
In honor of his life, Russell will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony on March 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, as we celebrate the legacy of a remarkable individual whose light will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he shared with us all.
