Samuel Roland Bollhalter

Samuel Roland Bollhalter Sr., 36, a resident of Gibson, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at his home.

Samuel was born February 10, 1987, the son of Tim G. Bollhalter and Jamie Ghirardi Bollhalter.

Samuel enjoyed spending time with his friends and making everyone laugh. He also loved to go to church and the outdoors.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Tim and Jamie Bollhalter; two sons, Samuel Roland Jr. and Eli Bollhalter (Touchet); one brother, Timothy J. Bollhalter and wife Brandi; two sisters, Barbara A. Bollhalter, Bridget T. Bollhalter Provost and husband Brandon; one grandfather, Glen Ghirardi Sr.; grandmoher Barbara Williams. Numerous Aunts and Uncles; five nieces, Sophia, Haley, Kylie, Emily, and Paige Bollhalter; one nephew, Bronson Provost; one great niece and nephew, London and Dante; good friend, Josh Knightshead.

Samuel was preceded in death by his grandmother and father, Col. Julius J. Bollhalter and Dorothy Bollhalter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. After Mass, Samuel will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
