Samuel "Ken" Kennard Rhyne

Samuel “Ken” Kennard Rhyne, 66, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Ochsner St. Mary.

Ken was born October 19, 1955, in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Robert Howell Rhyne Sr. and Edith Joan Brown Rhyne.

In his younger days, Ken enjoyed hunting, playing golf, and bowling. He also enjoyed watching football. Ken enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, watching them explore and learn.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Kenneth Rhyne and wife Shelly Morales of Pierre Part; daughter, Stacy Rhyne and significant other Matthew Lamar of Morgan City; brother, Robert “Bobby” Rhyne of Lafayette; sister, Catherine Scott and husband Fred of Texas; three grandchildren, Cayla Rhyne, Tyler Rhyne, and Noah Hillebran; numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Edith Rhyne; wife, Jaclyn Beadle.
