Sarah was born on May 29, 1984 in Houma, LA.  She passed away on March 4, 2024 in Okmulgee, OK.

Sarah’s gypsy heart took her on various journeys throughout her life.  Her last adventure took her to Oklahoma, where she met and married Josh Todd.  Sarah made friends wherever she went.  Sarah’s loved ones describe her as being filled with a deep-seated faith and selflessness that inspired people around her.  Her Louisiana roots were evident in her love for spicy foods and the joy she found in cooking, sharing her Cajun heritage with all who sat at her table.

Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband Josh Todd; mother, Dwana Barras and stepfather, Robert Liner; Dad, Victor Chavis Sr. (Kim LaCato); siblings, Victor Chavis Jr. (Tabitha), Kaylynn Ward (Jahcobi), Jacob (Mindy), Jamie Driskill; grandmother, Judy Miller; grandfather, Luther Chavis (Creda), extended family of in-laws; Donna and Curtis Ringgold, Stephen Todd, Jamie Moore, Jennifer Arnold, Jackie Bovia, Trish Edmonds, Tiffany Ringgold; brothers-in-law, Jeremiah Todd, Curtis Ringgold Jr., Eric Ringgold, and Jesse Ringgold along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and life long friend Hope Oliver (Danny).

She joins in heaven her grandparents, great grand parents, aunts, uncles, her beloved sister Amanda, brother Lawrence Fleming and nieces, Kailey Chavis, Kaisley Harris.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a  memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Visitation and Service will take place at the Twin City Gospel Temple Church 215 Canton Street Berwick 70342.
