Susan Mary Kruck Aucoin, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 22, 2021, at the age of 64.
Born in Morgan City, Louisiana, on April 2, 1957, to parents Barbara and "Big" George Kruck, Jr., she was a lifelong resident of St. Mary Parish.
Susan's passion for life could be seen in everything she did. Susan loved to travel and enjoyed spending time in nature, fishing and gardening. She was a very creative person and took great joy in sewing Christmas stockings and spending time with her family during the holidays - especially Christmas. She was a proud educator from which she retired in 2015. She was also a member of The Kiwanis Club of East St. Mary.
Susan is survived by her husband Blane Aucoin of Morgan City; her daughters, Brooke Landry Todd of Prairieville and her husband Joseph, April Landry LeMaire of Lafayette and her husband Ryan; stepdaughters, Ryan Webb of Dallas and her husband Adam, and Erin Aucoin of St. Amant. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Matthew Todd and Marigny Webb; one sister, Toni Fangue and her husband Dale, two brothers, Tiger Kruck and Karl Kruck; and many nieces.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents Barbara and "Big" George Kruck, Jr. and mother-in-law Doris Aucoin.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 25, 2021, at Sacred Heart Church in Morgan City starting at 9am until 11am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 am with Father Jay Baker celebrating Mass. Following Mass, Susan will be laid to rest in St. Andrew Cemetery in Amelia.
