Timothy James Armond Sr., 68, a resident of Stephensville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the University Medical Center in New Orleans. Timothy was born April 24, 1953, in Morgan City, the son of Druby Paul Armond and Shirley Aucoin Brinson. Timothy proudly served in the Marines. He also served his community as a police officer for the Morgan City Police Department for 16 years, a deputy at the St. Mary Sheriff’s Office, and a part-time police officer for the Patterson Police Department. He was also a welder. He and his wife, Glinda, owned Glinda’s D&B Seafood for 12 years. Timothy was an avid fisherman, and a Saints and LSU fan. He was a jokester with a great personality, who enjoyed Swamp Pop music and country music. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Glinda Hartman Armond; two sons, Ronald Armond of Morgan City and Timothy “Tim” James Armond Jr. of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Kirbi “Punkin” Armond of Baton Rouge; five siblings, Terry Armond of Stephensville, Michael Armond and wife Debbie of Georgia, Shawn Stringer of Morgan City, Michelle Jackson and husband Jerry of Amelia, Barbara Chittenden and husband Eddy of Lafayette; grandchildren, Kaylyn Roe, Ronald Armond Jr., Blithe Bergeron, and numerous nieces and nephews. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Armond and Shirley Brinson; brother, Anthony “Tony” Armond. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home, where military honors will be rendered. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
