Travis James Morin, 39, a resident of Patterson, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
He was born on May 12, 1983, the son of Ruben Morin and Kim Daigle Morin.
Travis, a graduate of New England Tech Culinary School in West Palm Beach, was an amazing chef that loved to share his passion with others. He loved listening to music while cooking for friends and family. His favorite pastime was watching the Food Network. He had a smile that would light up any room. Travis had a playful nature and was always the jokester at any gathering. He loved his family deeply and was always a “momma’s boy”. Taylie wants everyone to know that her dad was awesome, and he loved her and her brother so much. Triston wants everyone to remember his dad's laughter and deep love. Travis’ legacy will live on in his greatest treasures, his two children.
Travis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Triston James and Taylie Jane Morin; his mother, Kim Daigle Morin, and his father, Ruben Morin; his brother, Jerrid Morin and his wife, Tiffany; his sister, Kayla Morin; his nephews and nieces, Zayden, Maddie, Mattix, Alexa, Oriana, Consuela, Alejandra, and Rico; paternal Grandmother, Theresa H. Romero; and mother of his children, Tiffanie Vice.
Travis is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Nelda Daigle; paternal grandfather, Giverto Manuel Morin; and Aunts and Uncles, Cheryl Daigle Aucoin, Juan Hernandez, Martina Hernandez, and Celestine Hernandez.
Travis James Morin will be laid to rest at the Patterson Mausoleum.
