Verda LeBlanc Duhon

Verda LeBlanc Duhon, 66, a resident of Ricohoc, passed away peacefully Friday, November 12, 2021 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Verda was born June 4, 1955, the daughter of Roy LeBlanc Sr. and Florence Landry Syferich.

Verda enjoyed spending time with her family; it didn’t matter what they were doing, as long as she was with her children and grandchildren. Verda had two fur-babies, Sassy and Bouee, who she adored. She loved hummingbirds and flowers, and spending time at the camp.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, James Duhon Jr. of Ricohoc; son, James Duhon III and wife Crystal of Patterson; daughter, Adrienne Businelle and husband Willie of New Iberia; two sisters, Laverne Burns and husband Billy of Berwick, Juanita Masters of Morgan City; six grandchildren, Travis and Trent Duhon, Blaze Charpentier, J.T., Taylor, and Alana Blanchard; six great-grandchildren, Eli Ross Patterson, Gabriella Blanchard, Parker James Duhon, Jaxon Campo, Kaizer Blanchard, and Riley Charpentier.

Verda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy LeBlanc and Florence Syferich; brother, Roy LeBlanc Jr.; sister, Myrna Adams; grandparents, Alta and Bo Landry.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home with Monsignor Courville officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home from 11:00a.m. until the time of services. After services, Verda will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
