Vincent Peter Valenti

Vincent Peter Valenti, 72, a resident of Sorrento, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

Vincent was born March 18, 1949, in New Orleans, the son of Emanuel Valenti and Veta Nelton Valenti.

Vincent will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 years, Maryline Valenti of Sorrento; two daughters, Brenda Gordon of Texas and LilyMae LeBlanc of Sorrento; step-daughter, Aspyn Allen of Sorrento; sister, Helen Carbo of Chalmette; aunt, Diana Daigle and husband Charles; brother-in-law, V.J. Autin and wife Linda; four grandsons, J.C. Gibbs III and wife Wendy, Ronald Gibbs, Vitress Gibbs Sr., and Cody Gibbs; four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lucas, Maryline, and Viltress Jr. Gibbs.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Veta Valenti; two step-daughters, Bernadette Gordon and Alice LeBlanc; brother-in-law, Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held, Friday, September 3, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Vincent will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
