Wilson Eugene Hall III

Wilson Eugene Hall III, 61, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home.

Wilson was born on June 9, 1959 in Fort Benning, Georgia, the son of Wilson E. Hall II and Caroline Spencer Hall.

Wilson loved his family and was a loving son, brother and uncle. Growing up in Georgia Wilson had a dream of one day being in the oil field. He loved the oil field and retired after 33 years of working for McDermott Shipyard. When he retired, he was a yard superintendent and had spent several years as a superintendent overseas as well. His favorite place to be was in the ocean. When he wasn’t working or spending time with family, he loved to watch and attend NASCAR races as well as watching football. 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his companion of 7 years, Tammy Scully of Bayou Vista; his mother, Caroline Spencer Hall of Columbus, Georgia; two sisters, Genny Hall Petty of New Braunfels, Texas and Susan Hall of Norcross, Georgia; one brother, Charles “Chuck” Hall and wife Laxmi of Sugar Hill, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilson was preceded in death by his father, Wilson E. Hall II.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
