Amber McCaslin has been with Twin City Funeral Home since February of 2017 and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in August of 2018, receiving an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. Amber also graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science in May of 2023, from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
Amber has wanted to be in the funeral industry since a very young age. She pursued her interest in business in high school and set her mind to becoming a director. Amber believes that while helping families in one of the most difficult times of their lives, she creates relationships with them and becomes a part of their family for their time at the funeral home. This profession is a rewarding job and Amber looks forward to continuing to help families in her community.
Amber is a group fitness instructor at Atchafalaya Fitness and enjoys teaching classes on her time off. Amber has 4 dogs and a farm at her home.
Amber resides in Stephensville, where she grew up, with her husband, Justin, and her two step-children, Ella and Easton.
Alaina has been with Twin City Funeral since March of 2014. Alaina resides in Morgan City with her husband Lamar and their son Luke. Alaina has two other children, Madison and Kirstin. Alaina loves helping serve all of the families that walk through our doors.
On her off time, Alaina enjoys spending time with her family, having cookouts and crawfish boils.
James has been with Twin City since 2021.
James attended Arapahoe Community College and graduated with a Mortuary Science Degree in 2023.
On his off time, James enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, his two daughters, and his dogs. James also enjoys playing chess and golfing.
Jency Viator is the Family Service Counselor for Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA. She assists families with putting together their final wishes, alleviating that burden from their survivors. Jency understands the importance of preplanning and how much it helps our families not just on a financial level, but on an emotional level as well.
Originally from New Iberia, LA, Jency planted her roots in Houma, LA in 2019. She has been blessed by being able to find, not only a job, but a career in the funeral home industry despite being in the middle of a downturn in the oilfield industry and the Covid-19 pandemic. Jency was surprised to learn just how much she loves working in this industry. Being able to help families makes Jency feel like she is truly making a difference in the community.
Life can be challenging at times, but that’s why it’s also an adventure.
Mikki is a 2011 graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in Science. She is currently a Licensed Funeral Director enrolled in Arapahoe Community College in Mortuary Science studying to get her Embalming License. She has a son, Gabe, and an English Springer Spaniel named TJ. In her spare time, she enjoys playing basketball with her son, traveling, watching movies, and fishing.
A graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, Lane has been in the funeral business since 1996. Lane has 2 children, and enjoys, hunting, fishing, and surfing.
